What is HDD Enclosure?

HDD Enclosure is made for your SATA HDD or SSD with the aim of helping you attach a SATA HDD to your laptops externally through USB Connection.

Why HDD Enclosure?

Latest laptops doesn't have SATA port and space for SATA drive inside so, we need either NVME SSD or external drive. External drive and NVME M.2 Drives cost too much so not everyone can afford it. HDD Enclosures are cheap and you can put any HDD into it you old laptops or PlayStation or Xbox. Any HDD will work (also depends upon enclosure to enclosure) 

Are HDD Enclosure Slow and Is it safe?

No, HDD Enclosure are actually fast and it also depends on which one you buy, The one I have got supports 5GBPS speed + extra 20% if your USB 3.0 supports UASP.  You can find 6GBPS and more for SSD ones. Just check before buying. As per my research and experience it is safe too use as well, a well ventilated and shock proof enclosure can be more safer.

It is actually pretty good Enclosure though it costs Rs. 1270 (Less than 10$), I bought it on some discount so it might cost maximum of Rs. 1500 for you if you want to buy. I bought it from daraz official Ugreen dealer/seller.
